Session Twenty: New beginning

Taking down the panels at The Hunt Memorial Library...

The studio room wall where we will be working on the new iteration...

Panels against wall for now and elements at the ready.

What should we do now?

How about lunch!

2013: Session Nineteen

Another Session of hunting for materials.

We began at Calico Fair in North Canaan (found some holiday presents and ginger cookies but no materials) then off to New Milford. Far afield and interesting (found some more holiday presents) but did find this yellow crank embossing thing. Heard a WWII German spy story associated with an old packet that had photo negatives in it (turns out that was not for sale), but the story was interesting.

We had a tasty lunch and laughs ("...can't go wrong with that.!) at the coffee shop/cafe on Bank Street.

On the way back to Canaan via Route 45 we stopped at a "Barn Sale" and met a very friendly 91 year old selling, "mostly big stuff" like a player piano! Diane found some tags that we could use to make some mini paintings. Cool idea!

Told our Lavazza taste test story and learned all about coffee from Joel. "I didn't know that..."

Upon return home I found an extra sleeve inside an album that I bought and discovered an interesting use for it.

Nice day!
